Reading Cern and ROOT I think you are looking for http://root.cern.ch/ But I have no idea how ROOT is related to spatial queries on a Geodatabase. ROOT can handle coordinate systems but also Geography related? There is a class TGeoManager. Please keep me informed if you find out more.
