I have now made a proper menu and icon support (icons have NOT been checked into the repository, as the copyright state of the icons is unclear). The icons are meant for bright surfaces, i.e. some may be invisible on the dark surface. As mobile screens have much higher resolutions and need larger buttons (for touching), we should try consider getting alternative, high-res/vector icons for the Vespucci preset (e.g. http://www.sjjb.co.uk/mapicons/contactsheet) An APK is now available at http://www.janschejbal.de/temp/vespucci.apk When testing, please pay special attention to - if your OSM API password is kept - things that are annoying on small devices - device compatibility To switch to EasyEdit mode, use the dropdown in the action bar. The following features are available: - Select existing nodes by tapping them - Move a node by selecting it, then dragging it - Edit or delete a node by selecting it, then tapping it - Edit a way by selecting, then tapping, a node on the way - Create a new node by long-pressing. If you want to create only the node, tap it again to finish node creation, otherwise, you may create a path by tapping somewhere else. Tap the last node again to finish. Once you tap the last node, the tagging menu appears, allowing you to select a tag from the list, which will then be assigned to the node/way you just created. After this, the regular tag editor opens. The other feature you may want to test is multi-API support, available in the server settings. Known issues: - missing localization - tags assigned via the menu not appearing sometimes Some presets don't have any (static) tags There is an old bug that causes an inconsistent internal state, which then affects all tagging including EasyEdit tagging. Re-downloading should fix the issue. - Icons are low-res and some of them are black-on-black - Tag selection menu not appearing when you finish the node/path by using the ActionMode finish button.
