Even I tried playing out with both mapnik and osmarender . In osmarender it uses the default SVG but the style was not that easily scalable. Mapnik default would do better with SVG . Anyways Mapquest already uses SVG in its style as per https://github.com/MapQuest/MapQuest-Mapnik-Style/tree/6f7ea2723c07a1db2d17c2336dd3a0b3dd2d6fe9/mapquest_symbols Regards, Pavithran -- pavithran sakamuri http://look-pavi.blogspot.com _______________________________________________ dev mailing list dev@openstreetmap.org http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/dev
