Thanks for your reply. I tried to set the database name by setting the
environment variables in /env/environment as described in the README:
DB_HOST="localhost"
DB_NAME="openstreetmap"
DB_USER="openstreetmap"
DB_PASS="pass"
However this doesn't seem to work, or I've misunderstood how it works.
Indeed it isn't documented in the wiki.
I'll look into it again and if anyone else on this list has experience
with CGImap I'd be happy to hear about it!

Looks like cgimap doesn't know where to find your database. Did you tell
it through some config file or something? If not, try to find out where
to set it, and if it isn't yet documented in the wiki (I think it
isn't!) please document it.
