Links inbound to the OSM web page still work fine. As far as I can tell this change impacts two work flows - 3rd party scripts that manipulate web-page internals - Copying the osm.org URL to another program > What's more as this was done unannounced (no, an internal issue tracker > is not an announcement), all these applications are failing now as a > surprise for their users. This was in my message to talk@ about interesting website stuff in the works last month. See http://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk/2013-July/067713.html The summary I gave was "using #zoom/lon/latinstead of ?lon=A&lat=B&zoom=C" I know that talk@ only reaches a subset of mappers, so if you have suggestions for additional places I could send my announcements I'd welcome them. _______________________________________________ dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/dev
