your question is. I left certificates unchanged since when I looked in the
template file they were hard coded configuration values in the charts.

in the chart itself, but that is because I am unsure if I should or not. That
is part of the question I guess.

certificates. They are generated for localhost. That’s why you get tls errors.

2019-07-14 17:58:06 UTC - Michael Schmidt: Right, understood, but rather than
using my certs being mounted on deploy via the k8s secret it always uses the
local host certs that are hard coded in the yaml. I was wondering if there is a
way to mount them in via the k8s secret.

2019-07-14 18:01:34 UTC - Michael Schmidt: Mmmmm maybe I mis understand the
yaml too for helm. If I want to use my own k8s secret, should I be setting
generate cert to flase or true?

2019-07-14 18:02:08 UTC - Michael Schmidt: Right now I set to false, because my
mindset is that I want it to use my certificate, not great a cert on deployment.
