Hi all, I’d like to get your thoughts on making a minor ORC release off branch-1.5 (current released version is ORC-1.5.3). I’m currently working on HIVE-20699<https://jira.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-20699>, which needs ORC-437<https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ORC-437>, which is not part of any current ORC release. In order for Hive to be able to use ORC-437, a new ORC release is needed. If everyone is ok with it, I’m volunteering as the release manager for ORC-1.5.4.
