Brendan,
Excellent observation about the arrows. Mimi may have already thought
about this so will let her answer that one.
Yes, I think we should add something in the cuts section about the
floating time zones. I don't want to spend much time on this but I
think it's certainly worth capturing the issues that were raised, for
future reference. Just email me the other use cases you thought of
and I can consolidate them with the ones that came up in the meeting.

One issue with arrows around the month: the MONTH YEAR string gets
longer and shorter as
you're clicking <- or -> repeatedly, so the arrow positions would
change, so you can't park
the mouse in one place and click lots of times -- which you *can*
do in the current
implementation where their positions are fixed.
Secondly ... Sheila, did you want to throw in some tricky floating
timezone / unseen
timezone use cases in the "Cuts" section? or just leave that stuff
out entirely until post-
0.6? I thought of some other use cases for them...

FYI, I have updated the timezone spec with comments and feedback
from the initial dev
review that happened last Thursday. Some of the implementation
specifics have yet to be
updated but feel free to comment on the use cases and ui details so
far.
