Short answer: Actually, I don't think so (that is, I don't think we'd
see this bug at all).
Even better. Sounds like we have a plan then:
+ Don't fix use case E (reflect changes from different view) in 0.6,
because we don't see it
+ Fix use case F (occurance that gets deleted because of rule change)
with a private item collection and notification in 0.6, low risk
+ Implement per item notifications in 0.7, long term solution
