Bryan:

I think the schema problem comes up even if you don't mess with feeds, but only when you do a repository check.

When I updated the feeds example to use attribute editors for the ordinary fields last week, I forgot to bump the schema version: I'd removed the classes that implemented the nonAE fields in the example. John noticed this and commented on the problem in IRC (his symptom was a complaint from the repository check on exit that you get if you're running without -O, as we devs mostly do.)

I could bump the schema version now if anyone thinks this is worth it, but I think most people haven't messed with feeds, and causing everyone to recreate their repositories seems like overkill. So:

- If you've played with feeds, or you're a developer, or you just don't care about what's in your repository, use --create to start a new one.

- If you think I'm wrong and should bump the schema version now anyway, speak up. if it makes sense to do it before 0.6 just to be safe, maybe now's the time.
