To be clear...
If you are the author of one of these docs, check your completed draft
in to the branch by end of day Monday. Get at least one person to do a
detailed review of the (almost) completed document.
Ted and I will also do at least a light review of all dev docs for
consistency. Reid will review dev docs from a newcomer's perspective.
Pieter will do a pass at copyediting.
Other reviews are welcome! Reviewers, please get comments done by end of
day Tuesday, so that the doc author has some time to incorporate
comments. No edits after end of day Wednesday.
Early feedback (before the draft is complete) is also welcome and helpful.

After looking at first drafts of most of the docs, we decided to cut two
documents:
* Blocks and events (donn) Bug#4030
* Intro paper (twl) Bug#4031
The intro paper ended up overlapping with the tutorial and the
architecture document. The blocks and events doc overlapped with the
tutorial and the generated documentation.
We expect fairly complete versions of these documents to land in the
branch by Monday (Dec 12), the documentation complete deadline:
