[~drankye] This isn't in scope for Parquet-cpp at the moment (until both Java
and C++ decide to implement checksumming), so there isn't much value in
discussing it more here.
If you require CRC checksumming for some application, I suggest that this be
taken up more generally on the Parquet mailing list with the parquet-mr
developers. Currently the Java implementation is the only one being used in
production.
