Because of the likelihood that a Thrift compiled elsewhere may not have been
built with -fPIC, I recommend we use {{NO_DEFAULT_PATH}} in
{{FindThrift.cmake}} to force the external project build if the
{{$THRIFT_HOME}} environment variable is not set
