[~rdblue] Is it possible to make this fix available in parquet 1.8.1 as well ?
The fix is currently available in 1.9 and 1.8.2 . Apache Hive use parquet 1.8.1
and this issue is causing log flooding for parquet 1.6 files in Hive.
