1/29/2020 Attendee: Brian, Xinli, Gabor, Gidon, Walid Topics: Column Encryption - https://github.com/apache/parquet-mr/pull/614 need to be merged. - Still waiting for Parquet 11 release. Parquet-11 Release - There is a finding in Spark and working on it. PARQUET-1681 <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PARQUET-1681> - This is a severe issue. Some types of Avro schemas(like this <https://github.com/shangxinli/parquet-mr/commit/f80469f55b83404ea334ee4019f658ecdb5ac575#diff-349956ea7b1c91fc8aabc3cf0c73f08f>) are not compatible with themselves after converting to Parquet. This causes the data cannot be read. The fix is ready and a PR will be created for review. -- Xinli Shang
