Apart from that it works on my end using OpenJDK Runtime Environment (Zulu 8.80.0.17-CA-macos-aarch64) (build 1.8.0_422-b05). I also plugged in <https://github.com/apache/iceberg/pull/10964> Avro 1.11.4 in the Iceberg CI, where it compiles and passes (we have quite an extensive Avro test suite there, that uncovered bugs in the past as well).
