I doubt that we will look at itext and then implement a clone. We're not the
Samwer brothers.
The best would be that if you, or anybody else, has a wish for something useful
that should be implemented, to open an issue or post it on the dev mailing ist.
A prerequisite for all this would be to solve PDFBOX-922. This is probably why
some of the glyphs in Glens pdf file are incorrect.
