Can you please provide the full stacktrace of the BadPaddingException you get ?
plus the detailed JVM version you use?
For me, it worked with v1.7.0_25
"256-bytes encrypted file can be opened with AR but not with another product" :
Also with AR, only recent versions can open it. Most other products haven't
implemented AES256 yet.
