As of PDFBox version 1.8.10, Unicode fonts are not supported in PDFBox. This is
an important requirement for any PDF file. This feature can open up a lot of
other languages which currently might not be supported due to its restrictions
and limitations.
Opening this feature request ticket to see if there is any possibility of
getting this feature into the current version. Thanks!
