I've tested the patch with the string [~jahewson] suggested. Creating a test
file with
{code}
A line with an Arabic العربية word embedded.
{code}
produces
{code}
A line with an Arabic العربيةword embedded.
{code}
The previous version produces
{code}
A line with an Arabic ةيبرعلا word embedded.
{code}
So there is an improvement for that situation.
[~AndreasMeier] I'll attach the patch with some adjustments to match the
current trunk for your convenience.
