The feature isn't a killer feature many users are asking for. Nevertheless it
is an interesting feature, so my answer is yes we are interested.
It looks like your effort includes a lot of changes which have to be
integrated. I can't say it's easy or not without seeing the real code,
especially the parser part could be tricky. Due to the number of changes the
trunk version (3.0.0) would be the target.
