Looking at the PDF with Adobe Reader, there are 3 reasons:
- signature date is missing
- something is wrong with the certificate (not sure about that one, maybe this
is related to the first - please resubmit a signed PDF with a signature date,
then I can do more checks)
- document was modified, i.e. signature doesn't verify. I also get that with
ShowSignature: "message-digest attribute value does not match calculated value".
To verify that, one would need to see 1) whether you are signing the correct
sequence, i.e. what are you signing, what is fed to the sign() code? 2) what is
your signing code?
