This "how could I know" thing is handled in saveIncremental, which calculates
this range and passes it to sign(). See my comment in PDFBOX-4312 almost a year
ago, explaining that the input to sign() is not the PDF itself etc. That is why
I asked you to show what input you are passing to sign(). Just save the
sequence to a file and attach it here.
