As a side note: This special treatment of ZW codes might break use cases in
which users parse text in one PDF and add that text to another (or the same)
PDF if in the original document glyphs are actually rendered which are
associated with some ZW character.
One could argue that such source PDFs make use of inappropriate Unicode
mappings and not consider this a problem. Nonetheless, issues might be posted
here considering this a breaking change.
