As a compromise that can satisfy both camps, we can do a milestone (i.e. -M0) release basically immediately following the ASF release process. That way people that want a "preview" release can resolve the artifacts with the intention of the full release happening soon after.
Do note that however, regardless of what ends up being decided you can resolve pekko-connectors snapshots right now (which also includes Scala 3 artifacts). I have also asked on the scala mailing list for a response on when an expected Scala 3.5.1 release is made[1] [1]: https://contributors.scala-lang.org/t/3-3-1-release-thread/6208/8?u=mdedetrich On Wed, Aug 23, 2023 at 7:39 PM PJ Fanning <fannin...@apache.org> wrote: > Hi everyone, > > I think we are ready to press on with an RC1 for Pekko Connectors 1.0.0. > > This is a continuation of a previous thread [1] but we should start a > specific thread for discussing specific module releases. > > Matthew de Detrich is suggesting that we should wait until Slick 3.5.0 > is ready - and this depends on Scala 3.3.1 being released.
