I think there is quite a lot yet to sort out before we can proceed with an RC for this.
There has been previous discussion in https://lists.apache.org/thread/k8394q60xkyqftm7br4o00gsr6mmtdlb We have a 1.1.0 milestone with still 15 open issues/PRs. https://github.com/apache/incubator-pekko/milestone/2 and 3 open issues for 1.0.x milestone that implicitly require us to fix them for 1.1.0-M1 https://github.com/apache/incubator-pekko/milestone/4 No guarantee that people won't keep raising new issues and assigning them to either of these milestones. So right now, it feels like we are weeks away from 1.1.0-M1. If we start pruning these lists, then we will almost certainly need a 1.1.0-M2 that includes fixes for the delayed items.
