Apache Sadona and Daffodil both use sbt and neither are retired, Daffodil actually expressed interest when I asked them but it wasn't the right time for them to use it (for obvious reasons). > But remember that brings us back to have more complicated releases every time we need to release small changes to the plugins. True but the two plugins that I am talking about also happen to be ones who's functionality is stable/frozen, I am not really expecting any significant changes to either of those plugins. In fact I would be surprised if we end up doing more than one release a year for either of those plugins due to the nature of what they do. However as I said earlier, the desired "location" for these packages is also not entirely clear in ASF, they basically sit in some kind of purgatory area between an official ASF project and an internal ASF tool, i.e. they are not specific to any ASF project however at the same time they are not intended to be used for anything that is not an ASF project. In any case sbt-pekko-build is the more critical one that is seeing frequent updates and is actually tied to Pekko, so maybe we can immediately start transferring this one to Apache github org/Pekko TLP while figuring out if its even worth the hassle of doing the "proper" thing for the other 2 projects?
