Finally got around implementing Apache::PerlSections->(dump|store);
Comments ?
freeze/thaw?
What do you mean? Use Storable to dump the data out? I could implement that quite easily, just trying to keep things as close to they were in 1.x as possible.
actually, storable did cross my mind :)
So did I !
but what I meant was perhaps implement freeze() and thaw() over store() and dump(), as that seems to be the naming convention in Storable, A-T internals, etc.
Oh, sure, I don't mind. Either have freeze/thaw the regular name and possibly alias to dump/store in compat.
Either way is fine with me, really.
It's more than that, really. In the current (patch) implementation.
store() saves the data to the file, it doesn't freeze and return the data structure.
dump() returns data and sort of similar to thaw, but there is no freezed object, so there is nothing to thaw.
the implementation doesn't have any retrieve or freeze functionality.
So the current names selection looks good to me.
