Patch for 4.2 branch. This patch is different from the 4.0 patch since we have
a couple of tests SortMergeJoinIT and SpooledSortMergeJoinIT that are not in
4.2 but are there in 4.0. [~maryannxue] - was it intentional to not have the
two test classes in 4.2?
