Dumindu Buddhika commented on PHOENIX-1705:
-------------------------------------------

Um I have encountered a problem doing this(Without limiting to Char).

When this is called,
{code}
ARRAY_APPEND(ARRAY[4,5],6)
{code}

I get max length of the array as 4 and max length of the element as 10. So this
function call fails the max length check(It should not).

I have seen in PInteger class method getMaxLength returns 10 (INT_PRECISION).
That is the reason for the failure.

Do you think this is a bug?

> implement ARRAY_APPEND built in function
