FYI, [~maryannxue] - if a RuntimeException is thrown with a SQLException as the
cause, Phoenix will unwrap it and throw the SQLException. So in this case, she
should be able to catch the SQLFeatureNotSupportedException to verify that
subqueries with unions aren't yet supported.
