Thanks for the patch, [~rleidle]. After some discussion, it seems like the best
approach is to create a new 4.x-HBase-1.1 branch from which to release
HBase-1.1 compatible releases. Then I'll pull this patch into master from which
we'll release HBase-1.2 compatible releases.
