This may already be done, but filing just in case not. Our implementation the 
getSchema call for DatabaseMetaData in PhoenixDatabaseMetaData should work both 
with and without namespaces enabled. Not sure if changes are required there or 
not. The way this functionality is accessed is through the 
Connection.getMetaData().getSchemas() methods.
