NOW is an alias for CURRENT_DATE and TRUNC is an alias for FLOOR. They get
translated very earlier and never actually get evaluated. Also, both
NowFunction and TruncFunction are abstract. I suspect Calcite has a more
advanced way of aliasing that we can take advantage of.
