Yes, that sounds good, [~maryannxue]. One other idea to consider, which might
be a reasonable thing to add to Calcite, would be for default values to be able
to specify session variables. Essentially that's what the usages of
StatementContext end up doing - looking up a value which might have been
specified on the connection or session, for example the default date format
string.
