[~elserj] I have deleted most of the files that are dependent on Metrics2,
which includes {{MetricsSink}} as well as {{MetricsSource}}. This is attached
as 001 patch here. However, the class {{org.apache.phoenix.metrics.Metrics}}
and {{org.apache.phoenix.hbase.index.metrics.MetricsIndexerSourceImpl}} are
still using features offered by metrics2 library. How should we handle this?
