Hi! Villo's email from yesterday was flagged as spam by Gmail (again), so I'm trying to summarize it.
To prepare for the upcoming HBase 3.0 release Villo has split (and updated, and improved) my original WIP patch for HBase 3 support into more manageable chunks. These patches refactor old HBase APIs that have been removed from HBase 3.0, but do not break compatibility with HBase 2.x, so they can be applied now. As these patches are based on my original patch, it would not be prudent if only I reviewed them, so please help with the reviews. The separate patches are tracked as sub-tasks of PHOENIX-7164, but I dare not add any links here, either. best regards Istvan
