Lokesh Khurana created PHOENIX-8047:
---------------------------------------

Summary: Server-side DELETE and UPSERT SELECT mutations do not
carry the HA group attribute
                 Key: PHOENIX-8047
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PHOENIX-8047
             Project: Phoenix
          Issue Type: Sub-task
            Reporter: Lokesh Khurana
            Assignee: Lokesh Khurana

On an HA (consistent failover) connection, a server-side DELETE and a
server-side UPSERT SELECT make their mutations in
UngroupedAggregateRegionScanner. The scanner copies _HAGroupName from the scan
to the mutations. The client sets this scan attribute only for point lookups.
Thus these mutations arrive at IndexRegionObserver without an HA group. They
are not written to the replication log, so the standby cluster does not get
them. They also skip the stale cluster role record check and the
ACTIVE_TO_STANDBY mutation block. IndexRegionObserver logs a WARN for each
table, and the bypass metric increases.

Affected (auto-commit on): range or full-table DELETE, same-table UPSERT
SELECT, single-row DELETE ... RETURNING with a non-PK filter, and cross-table
UPSERT SELECT when server upsert select is enabled.
