Hi all, as I am really hoping to get more people involved with PLC4X on a code-level, I will start promoting little things that.
Just as an example I just added a new Jira issue which suggest implementing a Kafka Connect adapter for PLC4X: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PLC4X-35 Right now I’m labeling these types of issues with any label that suggest it being an easy fix, low hanging fruit or whatsoever … This doesn’t require access to a PLC or detailed knowledge in industrial protocols. Probably knowing Kafka Connect and the general concepts behind it, are an advantage, but not a must-have. Anyone willing to take this up, please make yourself heard. Chris
