First off all, welcome ( To all the others: A few days ago I reached out to the Apache Kafka community and asked for someone willing to help out build a Kafka-Connect plugin for PLC4X and Sagar expressed interest in this. To all that might be interested in this: There is a branch "frature/apache-kafka" that contains a module in "integrations/apache-kafka" with the skeleton of a Kafka Connect adapter for PLC4X. It already contains the stub for Kafka and the code to use PLC4X but is still missing the glue to produce the sort of response Kafka is expecting from our read requests.
