Hi all,

I just wanted to give a short summary of my impressions and opinions on the
retreat.
First, I want to thank all participants, namely Sebastian, Tim and Chris.
But a special thank goes to Chris for all the organization AND to codecentric
for making this possible and providing us with the Finca!

I’m not aware of all features we added but as far as I recall it includes:

  * Write Support for OPM (support for setter and a MERGE command similar to
JPAs), props for that go to Sebastian!
  * First version of a PLC Scraper (and a whole lot of painful analysis on
how some PLCs behave when scraped very frequently…)
  * Implementation of Splitting of large requests (I think Chris should write
a bit more in detail about that)
  * Tim started to work at a Prototype of a PLC4X OPC UA Server which maps
OPC Requests to native PLC requests, very cool!
  * Chris did several improvements in the build process, it especially runs
way faster due to changes in the side generation

I’m pretty sure I missed some thinks and I ask all participants to bring their
specific topics back to the list.
It’s impossible to follow all of this from the commit log as we have produced
more than 70 commits to develop alone (and there are other branches open).

So the only question remaining is… where and when do we repeat this? : )

Julian
