Hi Alvaro, thank you very much for your mail an your introduction, welcome! : ) Your company seems pretty cool!
To be honest, the Modbus stack was only partially used in production (@Tim Mitsch can perhaps report a bit about that) so Bugs could be there. OPC UA is, AFAIR working good (@Strljic, Matthias Milan you use it, right?). So lets hope that we can fix all the bugs you find on your way soon and that we see you often on the list here : ) Julian Am 29.11.19, 11:24 schrieb "Álvaro Del Castillo" <[email protected]>: Dear all, I want to present myself here, and not just sending issues to JIRA. I am sorry for not doing it before. My name is Alvaro del Castillo and I am working as a backend developer in ThingsO2 (https://thingso2.com/en/). We have decided to use PLC4x for communicating with Modbus and OPC-UA. The experience with PLC4x is good, but we have found some issues that I am reporting in JIRA. I have been successful compiling and generating components for a specific version. Great tooling job guys! Good enough for an introduction. Next steps in my side is to start getting more involved in the community and to start contributing with issues reporting and fixes for them when possible (as PRs to Github). Thank you so much for your great job in PLC4x. Cheers! -- Alvaro
