Sorry for the late response ... in order to tell you if you're using it wrong, I guess you'd have to show us how you're using it. In general it's strange, as Modbus is stateless and the concept of a "connection" is unknown to the protocol. Perhaps it's a problem with the TCP socket re-usage on your device (My KNX for example has a timeout of 5 minutes after disconnecting) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
