We didn't remove the adapter from the project. That's still in the extras repo. We asked it to be removed from the confluent store, as we were not willing to put up with the constraints confluent wanted to pile on us without giving anything back.

You could use it as intermediate way to seed data from OPC-UA to Kafka broker.
