Totally agreeing with your statement. As far as I understand the streampipes setup works in a similar way. The website updates when you push code changes to https://github.com/apache/streampipes if I understand Dominiks statement correctly?
Of course we can also just wait until the 4.0.0 site plugin release and the fixes. And additionally I want to highlight that nobody wants you to spend your weekend on fixing stuff!
