I'm curious if there is anyone reviewing bugs & patches for the Word support at the moment. I recently submitted a patch (and test cases) for extracting Escher pictures in Word documents. I was planning on writing a patch for field special characters being included in text extraction next, but didn't know the status of a Word maintainer.
