I've just started with setting up the RC. I think, the inclusion is not really an issue ... they just need to use the ooxml-schemas.jar. If the NPE fix is not a no-brainer I'd like to ask you to postpone it to the next beta. I'm reverting now the tag / doc-pinning and waiting for your ok to continue ...
