bug 57893, which was fixed for 3.13, introduces a behavioral inconsistency between (S)XSSFSheet and HSSFSheet. I wrote a patch (bug 58350, https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=58350) for this that should be included for the 3.13-final release before this inconsistency goes out into the wild. If it's too late, no biggie, we'll fix it in the pi release. Otherwise, has my +1.
