+1, if there are any security related issues, we should postpone the POI release and get the XMLBeans dependency fixed. I like the idea of the new options and we should use them Will you do the complete release (see the POI release guide) or may I support you? I'm currently doing some cosmetics on the Javadocs, but that is not release blocking. Andi
