What might be of interest for POI is that PDFBox 4 will switch to using Log4J, so it uses the same logging framework as POI. Apart from that I don’t know too much about what will change. I contributed some patches that reduce memory consumption and other improvements but I cannot tell about the other features.
Sorry that I have almost been absent from POI development for such a long time. I might use POI for MS word documents in the future and likely will contribute more again once I run into issues. I also try to get a fully JPMS compatible version of sparsebitset and might look into contributing to commons-math so that we will see a JPMS compatible release of that library too. If it gets done, POI will be finally be fully JPMS compatible too. Cheers, Axel > Am 06.01.2024 um 17:50 schrieb Axel Howind <a...@dua3.com>: > > Ah sorry, I wrote to the wrong list here.
